Here are some of the cutest, cleverest and just plain out-there examples of nail art we found while obsessing on Pinterest.
Pictures: Eye-catching nail designs
Nail art has come a long way in the last few years, and we're talking in a big way -- like a million Pinterest boards and a book dedicated to the art of DIY nail design. (Looking for yet another fun nail art board on Pinterest? Don't forget to check out ours, pictured above.) Quite frankly, we couldn't be happier. Truth is, we were tired of relinquishing ourselves to French tips or hot pink, with the occasional gem or two of course. This could explain why we spend so many hours looking for design inspirations for our next "art project."
For spring, we love pastel nails and anything black and white. Both work well with this seasons fashion trends.
For summer, we are already drooling over the bright pops of color. We can't wait to pair them with a little white summer dress for even more of a statement.
And, while it's hard to image now, come fall we'll be washing away the bright we were so egger to get our fingers on for something a little less colorful... grey. Right on target with this Fall's fashion trends, according to Harper's Bazaar.
And, if you feel like you've been seeing the same designs over and over again on Pinterest, another great spot for inspiration is the Nail Art Tumblr. It's a great mix of nail designs by a plethora of different nail artists.
